My Talking Toddler's video learning system can be used with children under the age of 6 months, giving them a jump start into learning and understanding the world around them better. It is never too early to start stimulating your child's brain and encouraging them to communicate.

Yes.  My talking toddler products do not only teach sign language, speech and communication, they also give a introduction to sight reading. A typical child begins to identify sight words in pre-k. With My Talking Toddler's learning system, you can entertain your child while exposing them to sight words, giving them a jump start in early reading and education.

The best time to begin is when the baby develops the ability to follow moving objects with his/her eyes. While we recommend beginning at 6 months, many parents start as early as 3-4 months.  There are many reasons to start your child early.  A baby's brain develops at a phenominal rate... nearly 90% during the first 5 years of its life. 

My Talking Toddler's 9 Disc Learning System was created for your child in a progressive nature. We suggest that you begin to advance your child by starting with Sign Language, then move onto P. B. and M., Vocabulary, Verbs, Animals, and finish with Body Parts. Pogo's Music for Me CD and Pogo's Bedtime Stories Disc 1 and 2 can be played at any time during your child's learning process. As you and your child progress through the system, we suggest that your child “graduates” from one DVD to the next. Once your child has mastered the concepts and words from each DVD, progress onto the next. Although we recommend that your child progress through the system, we have had many parents who have chosen to use more than one DVD at a time, with success. If you feel children are enjoying themselves, you can use more, however, we do not recommend more than 30-40 minutes of back-to-back screen time for children under 2 years old.

We suggest that your child be exposed to this advanced learning system one or two times a day. Assess your child's current daily media dose. It is best to consider how much time your child spends watching TV or Videos each day, and to use your own best judgment. My Talking Toddler suggests that as a parent, you should first share viewing time of our system with your child. Encourage your child to watch and interact with to the DVD's. With encouragement from a parent, your child will want to learn, and will be given a better opportunity to advance their learning potential.

Many children are able to learn from our DVD's without watching them from beginning to end. If your child is only interested in watching a DVD for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, don't be discouraged! They are still learning! Just make sure that your child doesn't always play the same 10 to 15 minutes of the DVD each time. If your child prefers to view a DVD for only 10 minutes, pause the DVD when they are done watching, and when your child is ready to watch again, resume playing from the last place viewed. You can also use the chapter markers in the DVD to resume playing at any different points in the DVD.
